Doing Something Nice For Someone Else

Posted on: June 17, 2010

It is important for each of you to strive to do nice
things for others. That way, you will feel better
           about yourselves.
Did you ever do something nice for someone else
only to discover how good that feels? This is a
common experience for kids who want to do their
best to help everyone who is in need that they could
help, given their time and resources.
Doing something nice for someone else can also
help you feel a lot better about yourself. How often
do you feel that something is missing in your life?
Well, unless you put something out there for others,
you will feel as if something isn’t quite right.
Volunteering is a great way to help others and to
use your spare time wisely. It can give you a sense of
accomplishment and you could feel so much better
about yourself as a result. There is no greater
feeling than to see the smile on someone else’s face
when you did something for them. And the feeling is
           so infectious.
So, go out and do something nice for someone. You
will really feel good that you did and your-self
esteem will grow as a result.
