Decide What is good for you and stick with it

Many times, you are uncertain about what is good
for you. You just go from one action to another,
many of your actions are directly a result of pleasing
others.
If you continue this way, you won’t know that YOU
really want and what is good for YOU. You will simply
be mimicking others and becoming clones of your
culture. Do you really want that?
In order to live self-assertively, you should try to
do what is good for you, i.e., what you want to do and
what is cohesive with your beliefs and values, and
stick to these, regardless of what anyone else says
or does.
In short, you should assert your beliefs and
values, regardless of what your peers think of them.
This habit, over time, will give you the confidence
that you need to keep asserting your values and what
you truly believe in.
Whose life would you like to live? Yours? Or
someone else’s?
