Never Put Yourself Down

Posted on: June 26, 2010

Many times, you put yourselves down in front of
others. You may say things such as:
That was SO stupid of me.
I should have been more careful.
           I shouldn’t have done that.
I should make sure that I don’t do that again.
           Don’t I look silly….and so on.
Such statements make your peers think that you
aren’t worthy. And there is some truth in that. If
you don’t think you’re worthy, and keep saying nasty
things about yourself, how do you expect others to
           treat you well?
Through your behaviour, you are always teaching
others kids, siblings, peers and so on, how to treat
you. And if you give others the appearance that you
don’t’ feel worthy, you will be treated as such. As a
matter of fact, when you don’t treat yourself right,
others will treat you even worse than you treat
So, it is best that you treat yourself kindly so
that others will treat you as such as well.
