Never Underestimate Yourself

Posted on: June 29, 2010

It is easy for us to let ourselves down once in a
while. We may feel down one day because we’re not
feeling invigorated. Or, we may have made a mistake.
Or, we said or did something that wasn’t very cool.
The important thing to remember is that you are
okay just as you are. You don’t have to make
excuses for anyone. No way! You can BE and not
worry about others who are trying as hard as they
           can to undermine you.
Your life will be full of trials and tribulations.
And this is especially the case during your teen
years. Your body will be changing. Your values will
be forming. Your beliefs will be changing. You will
keep some of your parents values, but you will want
to revise others. This is all part of developing
           and growing up.
Remember, you are GREAT just as you are RIGHT
NOW.  Don’t let your peers put you down for small
infractions. And try NEVER to underestimate
yourself. Because you are GREAT just as you are.
